This is a quality countertop oven. It bakes with or without convection. The convection function is incredibly level-headed. The racks don't tumble out or down onto the burners when baking heavy dishes. Even with convection baking, it bakes bread without roasting the top crust. It's grand inside with an efficient manufacture that doesn't steal up excessive counter spot. You can turn it "ON" or utilize timer to control the turn-off. It's solid and tight construction--obvious quality to the seek or touch. It's only aged point that I have found is that it doesn't actually toast bread on both sides at once. It's beneficial for baking, roasting, broiling. Even comes with a cookie sheet!
Solid mini oven. Built like a tank. Very finish convection operation. Stays at temperature with more off time than on time due to duo pane window and sterling door sealing. Very efficient crude cost to operate. Doesn't toast bread well (win a toater for that) . This is a huge "mini oven" that will cook most of your meals at 1,500 Watts vs your 12,000 Watt electic range. Do the math!
Handsomely retro, solidly metal, and with a sexy name like Dualit, how could it possibly disappoint?
As the wise man warned, "Do not reflect a book by its screen" - I foolishly decided to ignore such approved sense and dive into a $300 mistake I am now stuck with spending 20 minutes making none other than - a routine allotment of toast.
Maybe if I traveled through time and lived in a cave with one working electric outlet, I might thank God for blessing me with such a miraculous invention given my only other option was a fire pit. Sadly, in expose day - with so many better toaster ovens parading throughout the electronic isle, it only makes me wonder, "Why - dammit...WHY??? "
This toaster oven SUCKS.
Unless you have major patience and a lot of extra time, withhold on looking.
Never mind how first-rate it looks.
After all, even the loveliest supermodel can become painfully annoying if all they give you is disaster.
